CURATING FUTURES
Curator Incubation Programme 2026

OPEN CALL FOR PROPOSALS

CURATING FUTURES - Curator Incubation Program 2026

The Curating Futures – Curator Incubation Program is a new initiative by the International Art Exchange (IAE) to empower young Asian curators under 35. The focus is on the dynamic intersections of Community, Art Tech, and Hong Kong Visual Culture, creating a platform for emerging voices to experiment, collaborate, and shape inclusive exhibition practices. Through an intensive program of workshops, mentorship, and collaborative exhibition-making, participants will fast track their curatorial skills and expand their networks. Guided by leading international experts, the program culminates in two exhibitions presented in December 2026, offering a unique opportunity to connect curatorial innovation with Hong Kong’s evolving cultural landscape.

Selected participants will fast-track their skills through an intensive 6-class professional training course led by international experts, and will receive a production allowance of HK$30,000 to actualize their collaborative exhibitions.
